11/24 CBS2 Thanksgiving Night Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hope all of you have been having a healthy, happy, and warm Thanksgiving. The light precipitation that moved through will taper off late this evening but the clouds will remain across the area. It'll be chilly with temps in the 30s and 40s, so take extra care of slick spots on area roadways if you're out and about overnight.

It'll be chilly early tomorrow morning if you're heading to the stores for some shopping deals, and it does look dry - but expect cloudy skies and maybe some patchy fog -- again it'll be chilly so dress warmly! The day will remain cloudy as we reach highs in the low 50s, and some light rain will move through the area in the afternoon - but like today it won't be a soaker.

Expect more of the same Saturday with cloudy skies, cool temps around 50, and a few light rain showers scattered about the area. All in all it doesn't appear like a weekend washout, but it will be cool and damp at times so plan accordingly.

Enjoy the rest of Thanksgiving night!
