15-Year-Old Girl Found Shot To Death In Brooklyn Apartment
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 15-year-old girl was found shot to death inside a Brooklyn apartment Tuesday evening.
Police told CBS2 they responded to a call of a shot fired on the sixth floor of the apartment building at 1406 Brooklyn Ave. in East Flatbush around 6 p.m.
Police then found a semi-conscious teen girl with multiple gunshot wounds after entering apartment 6G. The girl was shot twice in the torso.
Sources told CBS2 that officers who responded to the scene heard noises of distress coming from inside the apartment.
The girl was able to give a description of the suspect and police are currently looking for the girl's boyfriend, sources said.
She was transported to Kings County Hospital Center, where she was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
