Susan Sarandon's Manhattan Apartment Burglarized
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A burglar managed to break into actress Susan Sarandon's apartment Saturday night, police said.
Police believe the burglar used a ladder from the top of a neighboring building to gain access to the roof of Sarandon's West 15th Street building.
The burglar then managed to make his way to Sarandon's lower-floor apartment and enter it through a terrace door.
The thief got away with jewelry and other items.
Sarandon was not believed to be in New York City at the time of the burglary.
