Survey: NYC Bartenders Tipped Lowest 'Per Hour' In Nation

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Although you would think in a city like New York you'd be able to rack in the bucks tending bar, the Big Apple appears to be dead last when it comes to tipping.

Bartenders in New York City only make about $7.10 an hour in tips, according to a new survey by Payscale.com.

Bartenders in San Francisco earned more than twice that amount.

Waiters and waitresses fared much better in the survey.
