NEW YORK -- At least eight people were hurt in a crash at a Queens intersection Saturday.

Police said a 33-year-old man driving a Honda struck multiple vehicles and a 14-year-old pedestrian.

"We heard a, it sounded like a bomb, and we came here and we saw that," one witness said. "It's terrifying, it's... Just, like, you have to be more careful."

A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash.

Seven adults were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The 14-year-old girl was taken to a local hospital in stable condition to be treated for head pain.

Initially, police believed a cyclist had been struck, but they later determined one of the vehicles involved in the crash had a bicycle on a bike rack.
