Caught On Camera: Subway Riders Save Man Who Fainted, Fell On Brooklyn Subway Tracks

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Subway riders saved a man who fainted and fell on the tracks - just as a train was approaching.

It happened Thursday morning at the 36th Street station in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

Witnesses say people on the platform started shouting and waving at the train operator.

The MTA says the operator hit the emergency brakes and stopped immediately.

The man was not seriously hurt.
