NYPD: Suspects Steal iPhone After Man Drops It Onto Subway Tracks

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two men who they said stole another man's iPhone after he dropped it onto the subway tracks.

It happened back on April 29 at the Bowling Green station.

A 20-year-old man was standing on the platform when he dropped his phone on the tracks. As he went to the booth to report that he dropped his phone, another man jumped onto the tracks and grabbed it, police said.

When the man asked for his phone back, police said a second man punched the victim in the chest. The two then fled the station.

Both suspects were seen on surveillance video.
