Some Smoothies Can Help Manage Stress

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- April is National Stress Awareness Month, and Estelle and Dale Williams say they have a few smoothies that can actually help you manage your stress in different ways.

"As we clean out of our closets, it's certainly a great time to start cleaning out our bodies, too, and get ready for spring," Estelle Williams told CBS2's Diane Macedo. "So you want to incorporate as many fruits and vegetables as you can."

Estelle and Dale Williams own the Tasti D-Lite and Planet Smoothie in Montclair, New Jersey.

Estelle said a smoothie is a quick, easy way for someone to get their vitamins and nutrients.

"You can get all your vitamin C, all your vitamin A, all your antioxidants in one swat all at once," she said.

The smoothies the Williamses suggest include Passionate Blues, Mango Passion and Cherry Chia Chiller.
