Street Artist Dasic Fernandez Gives Chinatown's Doyers Street A Vibrant Makeover

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The historic Doyers Street in Chinatown got a vibrant makeover this Pride Month.

Chilean-born street artist Dasic Fernandez painted the street as part of the city's Asphalt Art Activations.

The mural opened to the public Tuesday.

Doyers Street is also part of the city's Open Streets program this year. It is fully closed to vehicular traffic from Bowery to Pell streets daily from noon to 11 p.m.
