Snowstorms Leave Holiday Travelers Stranded At Airports Across Tri-State, U.S.
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Snowstorms are wreaking havoc at airports across the country.
Some flights were delayed, while others were canceled altogether, stranding many holiday travelers heading back home after Thanksgiving.
As of 11 p.m. Monday, delays at Newark Liberty International Airport were over three hours. At LaGuardia Airport, they were nearly two hours.

John F. Kennedy International Airport reported delays averaging an hour.
Some major airlines, like United and Delta, have offered to waive change fees for those still trying to fly out.
