BANGOR, Maine (AP) -- Jameel Warney scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Stony Brook beat Maine 75-56 on Sunday to claim the America East regular-season title.

Warney, a 6-foot-8 senior forward, was 9 of 12 from the field in becoming the third player in America East history to reach 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

The regular-season championship is the fourth for the Seawolves (23-5, 14-1), all under coach Steve Pikiell, in his 11th season.

Aaron Calixte and Till Gloger scored 11 points each and Ilija Stojiljkovic 10 for the Black Bears (8-10, 4-10), who dropped their sixth straight.
