Teen Charged With Groping Woman, Stealing $10 From Her, On Staten Island

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A teenage boy has been charged with forcibly groping and kissing a young woman, and stealing $10 from her, on Staten Island back in September.

Around 2:50 p.m. Sept. 21, the suspect came up to the 18-year-old woman near Irving Place and Vanderbilt Avenue on Staten Island as she was walking, police said.

The suspect then brought the victim onto Irving Place, where he kissed her and grabbed her buttocks, police said.

The suspect demanded money, and took $10 from the victim before leaving the scene, police said.

On Monday, Justin Messado, 16, of Staten Island, was charged with robbery and forcible touching, police said.
