Woman Found Dead In Staten Island Basement Had Bite Marks On Her Arm, Police Say

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say a woman found dead in a Staten Island basement had bite marks on her arm.

The body of 68-year-old Daisie Bradshaw was found by her daughter in the basement of her Simonson Avenue home.

As 1010 WINS Roger Stern reported, there were bruises and bite marks. The daughter keeps two German shepherd mix dogs in the basement, and police don't know if they killed the woman or mutilated her body after she died.

"I pray that it was after death. Hopefully, it sounds sad to say, hopefully she had some other cause of death because that's like a horror movie," neighbor Kevin said.

Kevin knew Bradshaw who was known as 'D' since he was 7. He said she was a sweetheart.
