Police: Man Wanted For Questioning In St. Patrick's Day Assault At Manhattan Bar

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man in connection with an assault at a Manhattan bar on St. Patrick's Day.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. inside S on East 40th Street on Thursday.

The man got into some sort of verbal dispute with a 55-year-old man, police said. He then assaulted the victim, causing a laceration to the man's neck, police said.

The suspect took off. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police have released a surveillance photo of a man wanted for questioning in the attack. They describe him as a black man who was seen wearing a black and orange T-shirt with a long sleeve shirt underneath, a scarf and a book bag.
