Several Special Needs Adults Seriously Injured In Head-On Collision In Connecticut, Police Say
GREENWICH, Conn. (CBSNewYork) – Several people on board a special needs bus in Connecticut were seriously injured during a violent crash Tuesday afternoon.
According to police in Greenwich, a school bus collided with a van carrying several adults from Cerebral Palsy of Westchester. CBS2's Valerie Castro has learned that 10 adults in the van suffered serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
Many of the injured were taken to Stamford Hospital to be treated for their injuries, but authorities told CBS2 everyone is expected to recover.

"There's 10 people so there's a lot of injuries... there's definitely broken bones, contusions, head strikes, everything of that nature," Greenwich police Capt. Kraig Gray said.
Police in Connecticut said the school bus was not carrying any students at the time of the accident.

Police are investigating how the head-on crash occurred on King Street in the Connecticut town. It's unknown if either driver will face charges for the accident.
