South Jersey Man Faces Charges In Connection With Alleged Online Luring

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) -- Police in southern New Jersey say a 21-year-old man has been arrested after he showed up at a pre-determined location allegedly to have sex with an underage girl he met online.

The Burlington County prosecutor's office says Kerry E. Hilton of Little Egg Harbor has been charged with attempt to commit sexual assault and attempted luring.

It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.

Prosecutors claim Hilton thought he had been communicating electronically with a 13-year-old girl.

The person on the other end of the conversation was really a detective with the high tech crimes unit of the prosecutor's office.

Hilton was arrested April 7 after traveling to an undisclosed location in Pemberton Township.

A Superior Court judge in Mount Holly on Tuesday set Hilton's bail at $200,000.
