Solar-Powered Plane Set To Arrive At JFK Airport
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The experimental solar-powered plane on a round-the-world journey is scheduled to arrive in New York.
The Solar Impulse 2 landed at an airport near Allentown, Pennsylvania last week.
Now, it's set to arrive at John F. Kennedy International Airport sometime Tuesday evening.

There's been talk of a flyover of the Statue of Liberty, but a specific time has not been announced.
The Swiss-made plane began its trek in March 2015 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It made stops in Oman, Myanmar, China and Japan.
