SoHo Baker's New Take On Cookies & Milk Has Crowds Lining Up

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- How could anyone improve the already perfect pairing of cookies and milk?

As 1010 WINS' Gary Baumgarten reported, Dominique Ansel, who owns a bakery in SoHo, has recently introduced milk shots: a cookie shaped as a shot glass with a chocolate coating on the inside, filled with organic chilled milk.

Andrew, who was one of the first in line to try the talked about treat, said he's a believer.

"I like all the chocolate in the middle and the milk is really good too," Andrew said.

The milk is from upstate New York and is infused with vanilla beans, Baumgarten reported.

There were a couple of complaints though. One being that the cookie shot glass has a tendency to leak and another from the neighbors who are not happy with the long lines clogging the sidewalk along Spring Street.
