Snow In Store Tuesday Night For Those Living North Of I-287

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A system will bring snow and rain to the Tri-State area overnight Tuesday, CBS2's Lonnie Quinn reported.

Those living north of Interstate 287, can expect to see anywhere from a coating to 3 inches of snow by Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, people in New York City and south can expect rain, which could be heavy at times.

A winter weather alert is in effect for Sussex and Orange counties until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
