Small Child Injured In Fire In Bath Beach, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An infant was seriously injured in a fire in Bath Beach, Brooklyn, Wednesday evening.
The fire broke out at 7:37 p.m., on the third floor of a three-story multi-family home at 8796 19th Ave. in Brooklyn, officials told 1010 WINS.
The child was in serious condition and was being treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital, officials said.
The nature of the child's injuries were not immediately learned.
The fire was still burning as of just before 9 p.m.
