Man Found Dead Near 'Suspicious' Car Fire In Sloatsburg

SLOATSBURG, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Ramapo police are investigating what they are calling "a suspicious car fire" after a man was found dead near the vehicle.

The fire broke out just after midnight on a dirt road off Waldron Terrace in Sloatsburg, police said. The man's body was discovered outside the car, police said.

The cause of death is under investigation. The man's identity has not been released.
