Second Victim Dies From Injuries Suffered During Elizabeth House Explosion

ELIZABETH, N.J.(CBSNewYork) -- A second person has died in a house explosion in Elizabeth.

Kimayha Henderson, 26, passed away on Thursday from injuries she received during the November blast.

Police said 24-year-old Femi Brown, who lived on the second floor of the duplex, was killed back in November.

At the time cameras captured the blast that left the duplex home on Magnolia Avenue severely damaged. The blast pancaked the second floor onto the first level, and the roof was seen blasting up as a fireball erupted.

Investigators said an apartment behind the garage was illegally receiving gas and electricity.

They believe an improperly capped gas line may be to blame for the explosion.
