Search Underway For Suspect In Brutal Bronx Elevator Attack

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man who slashed a woman in the face in a Bronx elevator.

The attack took place on Saturday morning, in the Melrose section of the Bronx.

The victim is in her 50s. She was taken to Lincoln Hospital and is recovering from her injuries.

Police have only a vague description of the suspect.
