Search On For Suspect In June Furniture Store Robbery In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday were asking for help from the public in a robbery last June at a furniture store in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

Around 5:40 p.m. on June 20 of last year, the suspect walked into the Payless Furniture Store, at 76 Belmont Ave. in Brooklyn, police said. He flashed a gun and demanded money from a store employee, police said.

The suspect then fired two rounds into the store, and fled with an unknown amount of money, police said.

No one was injured.

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect Tuesday evening.
