Search On For Suspect In East Harlem Attempted Rape
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Monday were asking the public to help find a suspect in the attempted rape of a woman in East Harlem this past weekend.
Around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, the man walked up to the 34-year-old woman in the building at an unspecified address, pushed her to the ground and tried to rape her, police said.
The victim screamed and the suspect fled, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Police have released a surveillance video of a suspect.
