Search Is On For Woman Accused Of Robbing Elderly Man In The Bronx

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The search is on for a woman who allegedly robbed an elderly man in the Bronx.

It happened around 9:30 a.m., on Friday. The suspect engaged the old man and assisted him as he walked. She escorted him into a deli on Tremont Avenue where she removed a $100 bill from the man's pocket and took off.

The woman was seen walking with the 91-year-old man on a surveillance video, police said. The suspect has been described as a Hispanic woman between the ages of 35 and 45, she is 5'4" and was wearing a black sweater, black skirt, and red sneakers.
