School Bus Bursts Into Flames In Toms River

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- No injuries were reported after a school bus burst into flames Wednesday morning in New Jersey.

The bus driver smelled something burning and pulled over on Old Freehold Road near Dugan Lane in Toms River, police said.

The driver and an aide got off the bus moments before it became fully engulfed in flames, police said.

No students were on the bus at the time of the incident.

The Pleasant Plains Volunteer Fire Company extinguished the blaze.
