NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- From costumes to catchphrases, "Saturday Night Live: The Exhibition" tries to capture it all from the iconic show's 40-year run.

Videos, sets, props, original scripts and costumes fill the new exhibit, located at 417 Fifth Ave.

"We did this mainly with the folks at 'SNL' and the leadership there of the different departments, but I know that everything we have in the exhibition has the blessing of the stars," Creative Director Mark Lach told 1010 WINS' Al Jones.
