11/19 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Hey folks! We have one last beautiful day before a tremendous change in the forecast. Plenty of sunshine for the early afternoon with highs in the lower 60s! Clouds will increase this evening as a strong frontal system approaches from the west.
Expect plunging temps overnight and strengthening wind. There will be some rain moving through, and even some snowflakes for the outlying 'burbs! We're not expecting huge accumulations, but some higher elevations could have a coating of white! Heading through the day tomorrow expect plenty of wind and temps stuck in the 40s...feeling like the 30s! A few snowflakes are also possible from time to time, adding to the bitter chill.
It'll be a frigid start to the work week with blustery & cold conditions...Temps will start off in the 20s & 30s but will feel way colder! Bundle up heading out Monday morning because the wintry chill will be in full force.
Check back soon for the latest!
