Rooming House Tenant Found Dead In Somerville, NJ

SOMERVILLE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – First bed bug complaints, then a decaying body in a Somerville rooming house on West End Avenue.

As 1010 WINS' Gary Baumgarten reported, at a dilapidated looking three-story rooming house just a block from Borough Hall, a tenant was found dead. However, no one noticed until the smell became unbearable, Baumgarten reported.

Neighbors reportedly called the landlord and the state, but it was days later when someone finally came and took the person away.

The state is investigating the incident.
