Rockaway Township Man Identified As Victim Of Fatal Car Accident

MOUNT ARLINGTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - Authorities have identified a New Jersey man killed in a single-vehicle accident in Morris County.

The Daily Record reports that 56-year-old Kenneth Haflee, of Rockaway Township, was killed when his Honda Accord crashed into a wall under the Mount Arlington railroad station bridge.

Mount Arlington police Lt. Edward LaBruno says that police aren't sure if Haflee suffered a medical emergency, but that a witness says the driver made no attempt to maneuver away from the wall.

No one else was injured in the accident.

LaBruno says that steel beams holding the bridge together were not damaged.
