Man Hit, Critically Injured By Car In Ridgewood, Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A pedestrian was left in critical condition Monday after being hit by a car in Ridgewood, Queens.
The accident happened around 11 a.m. near Metropolitan and Woodward avenues in Queens, officials told CBS2.
Police said the man who was struck was crossing the street at the time. The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital Center, officials said.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene, officials said.
No charges had been filed late Monday.
