Report: WWE's Ric Flair Treated After Airport Incident

BOSTON (CBSNewYork) -- It's been a rough 24 hours for Ric Flair.

TMZ reported Wednesday that the "Nature Boy" was involved in an incident at Boston's Logan Airport where witnesses claimed he was "having a tough time" and acting like a drunk person.

However, Airport Police Sgt. Donlon told TMZ police and medical officials treated Flair, 67, for a cut to his hand and he was allowed to board his flight. Donlon said that Flair was not drunk.

Melinda Morris Zanoni, Flair's agent, told TMZ that everything is fine with the wrestling legend.

"Ric has been working every day around the clock, including internationally, for a month straight and has injuries on his hand that were being looked into this morning," she said. "While it is true Ric Flair and his buddies have been keeping airport bars in business since the 70s that was not the case at all in Boston. I just hung up with Ric, he is already on the flight and all is good."

This comes as Flair told a female wrestler to kill herself during a taping of WWE's "Smackdown" Tuesday night.

During a segment involving Flair's daughter Charlotte, who is the WWE Women's Champion, and Natalya Neidhart, Flair told Natalya during a promo to "kill yourself."

The WWE has yet to comment on Flair's incident at Logan Airport.
