FDNY: Fire Reported At Resorts World Casino in Queens

NEW YORK (AP) -- Officials say the Resorts World Casino has been evacuated because of an electrical fire.

The fire was reported shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday.

A spokesman for the New York City Fire Department says firefighters discovered an electrical fire in the casino in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens. He says it was brought under control about 30 minutes later.

Authorities say no one was reported to be injured.

A spokesman for the casino said all employees and guests were told to leave the building. He said casino officials were still working to gather more information on the situation.
