Reports: Man Charged After Hidden Bathroom Camera Is Found In Johnson & Johnson Chelsea Office

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man has been arrested after a pinhole camera was found in a restroom at the Johnson & Johnson office in Chelsea, according to published reports.

Police said the camera was found in a unisex bathroom inside the Johnson & Johnson office at 601 W. 26th St., according to a DNAInfo report.

A maintenance supervisor reported the camera was mounted above a light switch, and upon examination, it was found to contain an SD video storage card, the publication reported.

The camera was pointed at the toilet so as to record people using it, and also reflected a mirror so that people undressing in the bathroom could be seen doing so, police told the publication.

This past Friday, Stephen Lewins, 42 – described in published reports as a contractor for Johnson & Johnson – was charged with unlawful surveillance in connection with the incident, the publication reported.
