Report: NJ Man Dies After Catching Fire

WANAQUE, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- An elderly man who was found on fire outside his Passaic County home has died from his injuries.

But authorities say it's still not clear how the fire started.

Wanaque police told NJ.com that 71-year-old Robert Caywood had "severe burns" all over his body when officers found him at his Pellington Street home around 6:40 p.m. Friday. He was flown to a burn center, but a center spokeswoman said Sunday that Caywood had died.

Further details on his death were not disclosed.

No other injuries were reported in the fire, which remains under investigation by Wanaque police and the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
