Rapper 'Desiigner' Arrested In Alleged Road Rage Incident At Lincoln Tunnel

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - An up-and-coming rapper is in trouble with the law following an alleged road rage incident at the Lincoln Tunnel.

The NYPD says Sidney Selby, who goes by the name Desiigner, was arrested Thursday night after he allegedly menaced someone with a gun in the tunnel during a traffic dispute.

Selby was a passenger in a white Escalade when he was pulled over by officers on West 42nd Street.

Police said they found numerous controlled substances in plain sight in the vehicle.

Selby faces charges of weapons possession, possession of controlled substances, and menacing.

Desiigner was nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards  for his debut video "Panda."
