Cops: LI Man Fatally Stabs Mother's Boyfriend, Flees

HOLBROOK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island man was arrested after stabbing and then killing his mother's live-in boyfriend Saturday night, according to Suffolk County Police.

Raiken Hall, 31, got into an altercation with Oscar Green, 47, before stabbing Green in the neck in the Holbrook apartment they shared. Hall then fled the apartment on foot, according to police.

Green was sent to Stony Brook University Medical Center and was later pronounced dead, police say.

The incident occurred at around 5:55 p.m. Saturday night, according to police. Hall was located and arrested at around 8:50 a.m. Sunday morning.

Hall was charged with first-degree manslaughter, according to police. He is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 2.
