15-Year-Old Boy Shot To Death In Far Rockaway, Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A 15-year-old boy was shot to death Saturday afternoon in Far Rockaway, Queens.

Police said Trevor Rudd was found in a second floor stairwell at an apartment building on Beach Channel Drive.

He was shot multiple times in his torso and pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Police said a 31-year-old person of interest was taking into custody and the gun was recovered.
