NYPD: Suspects Steal Woman's Purse, Use Debit Card At McDonald's

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is searching for two men in connection to a robbery in Queens earlier this month.

According to police, the suspects pushed a 38-year-old woman to the ground and took her purse on 37th Avenue and Main Street in the Flushing section of Queens at around 4:15 a.m. on Aug. 12.

The purse contained an iPad, credit and debit cards, and $30 in cash, police said.

Police say the suspects used the victim's debit card to make purchases at a nearby McDonalds, Stop and Shop and H-Mart following the robbery.

The suspects are believed to be in their 20s and were last seen wearing white tank tops and dark-colored pants, police said.

The NYPD is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS or by logging on to their website at www.NYPDcrimestoppers.com. Tips can remain anonymous.
