Man Found Dead, Wrapped In Tarp Behind Queens Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was found dead Friday morning behind a building in Jamaica, Queens.

Police responded shortly before 7 a.m. to Liberty Avenue near 180th Street.

When officers arrived, the man was unresponsive on the ground wrapped in a tarp.

EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

His name has not been released.

The medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death, but police say there are no clear signs of trauma.
