Queens Man Charged In Astoria Slaying

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Queens man has been arrested and charged with killing a man whose body was found Saturday afternoon in Astoria Park.

William Klinger, 42, of Ridgewood, New Jersey, was found lying near a pool inside the park with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have charged Alexander Bonich, 49, of Astoria, with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence.
