Police: 1 Killed, 3 Injured In Queens Crash

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One person was killed and three were injured after a 17-year-old boy reportedly took his dad's car out, ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle, police say.

The crash happened just after 6 p.m. at 119th Avenue and 231st in Cambria Heights.

1010 WINS' Derricke Dennis reported that the teen had taken his father's Nissan Pathfinder out for a joy ride and was seen speeding and running right through a stop sign.

One neighbor who heard the impact said it was extremely loud.

The passenger in the car that was hit died as a result of the accident.

The teen driver, along with two others were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

None of the victims' names have been released.
