NYPD: Suspect Sought For Punching Man On Queens Bus

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to identify a man who they said assaulted another man on board a bus in Queens.

It happened back on July 8.

Police said a 32-year-old man was riding a Q66 bus near the corner of 21st Street and 35th Avenue when an unknown man walked up to him and punched him in the face.

The victim got off the bus and took himself to the hospital where he was treated and released for a laceration.

The suspect was seen exiting the back the bus, police said. Nothing was stolen during the incident.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video on the bus. He is described by police as a 30-year-old Hispanic man with short dark hair, a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a dark gray T-shirt and dark-colored pants.
