Police: 2 Men Sought For Attempted Rape In Prospect Park South

Police say two men followed a 25-year-old woman down the street near Tennis Court and Ocean Avenue at around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.

One of the men then shoved her against a parked car and began sexually assaulting her, police said.

The victim managed to push the suspect off of her and got into a nearby building, police said. The two followed and attacked the woman in the building's vestibule, where they tried to pull her pants off, according to police.

When the victim fought back, one of the suspects punched her repeatedly and threw her to the ground.

The attack was interrupted when a building resident entered the vestibule, and the suspects took off.
