Brush Fire Breaks Out In Prospect Park For Second Day In A Row

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A brush fire swept through a section of Prospect Park in Brooklyn late Monday.

The FDNY said the fire started at 5 p.m. and was brought under control by 7 p.m.

It was near Prospect Park Lake, at West and Well House drives.

Officials said there was also a brush fire in the park on Sunday, which resulted in no injuries. Adam Gurri posted an image of the Sunday fire to Twitter.
