Man Shot In Head Near Prospect Park

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was shot in the head Wednesday evening near the southern edge of Prospect Park.

The gunfire rang out in front of 87 Woodruff Ave. in Brooklyn at 7:41 p.m., police said.

A 33-year-old man was shot once in the head and was taken to Kings County Hospital Center in critical condition, police said.

There had been no arrests.
