Prosecutor: More Than $100K Worth Of Smartphones Stolen From NJ AT&T Store

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities in New Jersey are searching for a man who they said stole more than $100,000 worth of smartphones from an AT&T store in Flemington.

It happened sometime overnight Sunday into Monday morning at the AT&T store in the Shoppes of Flemington on Reaville Avenue.

The suspect got into store after disabling the alarm system, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns said. When employees opened the store Monday morning, they found over $100,000 worth of smartphones had been stolen, authorities said.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video inside the store. He's described as being a white male over 6' tall with a medium build and wearing a ski mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call your local police department or the Major Crimes Unit of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's office at 908-788-1129.
