Interview: 'Project Sunshine' Celebrates More Than 15,000 Volunteers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The sun is shining brightly on dozens of children who are dealing with major medical issues.

"Project Sunshine" and its many volunteers are dedicated to bringing joy to the hearts of these many children.

CBS2's Brian Conybeare sat down with Executive Director Beatrice Kernan and Kate Tylis, Project Sunshine's 2016 Volunteer Appreciation Award winner, to learn more about the organization's mission.
