Queens Street Renamed In Honor Of Beloved Community Member, Hospital Worker Who Died From COVID-19

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A beloved community member and hospital worker in Queens who died from COVID-19 now forever has a place in her neighborhood.

The northeast corner of 98th Place and 57th Avenue in Corona has been renamed Priscilla Carrow Way.

Carrow was 65 when she died in 2020. She worked at Elmhurst Hospital for 25 years and was active in her community.

Carrow is remembered as a "sweet soul" and a selfless person who touched so many lives.
